Vinyl (part 2)
I kind of need a ladder to get the lights up. And I think I need new printed bed sheets. Meanwhile, here’s my new wall!
“Un peu d’air sur la terre” is a line from The French Open by Foals, and it translates to this.
You would be delighted to know that this phrase has zero meaning in my life, but Yannis Philippakis sings it so sexily that I just had to find an equally sexy font for it on my wall.

Vinyl (part 1)

So, I’ve been mostly stuck indoors for two weeks following an ankle injury (more about that later). Of the list of things/projects I thought I could take up while doing my time, decorating my walls sounded like the one least likely to make use of mobility—which I didn’t have, lulz. After some research, I decided I’d go for it.
Vinyl Wall Stickers (Budget: Php 1000 or $22~)
To get the materials I needed, I mainly did two things:
- Shopped online for ready made stickers (Php 650 or $15~)
- Found a print shop, sent them my design (Php 180 or $4~)
Cost: Php 830
The bird vinyl stickers are from Wall Candy. The text things, I drafted myself and picked up from the printer today. I used Bebas for it, if you must ask.
I’m going to get started on sticking these things on the wall now so I’ll have something to show you for part 2. Post to be continued.
Isn’t that black vintage ring so cute? :}
Edit: I posted photos of my finished wall! Read Vinyl part 2 here.
